2024 Annual Labor Standards Workplace Poster, Updates, and Resources
2024 Workplace Poster Now Available!
The 2024 Office of Labor Standards (OLS) Workplace Poster with the minimum wage adjustments, effective January 1, 2024, is now available for download on the OLS website by clicking here.
The increase is required by the Minimum Wage Ordinance. The minimum wage applies to all employees working in Seattle regardless of the workers’ immigration status.

The 2024 minimum wage for large employers (501 or more employees) is $19.97/hour.

The 2024 minimum wage for small employers (500 or fewer employees) who do not pay at least $2.72/hour toward the employee’s medical benefits and/or where the employee does not earn at least $2.72/ hour in tips is $19.97/hour.

The 2024 minimum wage for small employers (500 or fewer employees) who do pay at least $2.72/hour toward the employee’s medical benefits and/or where the employee does earn at least $2.72/hour in tips is $17.25/hour.
2024 Workplace Poster and Translations
By January 1, 2024, employers must display the 2024 Workplace Poster in a noticeable area at the workplace, in English and the languages spoken by employees. In addition to English, OLS will provide the 2024 Workplace Poster in 29 languages that include Amharic, Arabic, Chinese, Dari, Farsi, French, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Malay, Nepali, Oromo, Pashto, Portuguese, Punjabi, Russian, Somali, Spanish, Tagalog, Thai, Tigrigna, Ukrainian, and Vietnamese. 2024 Workplace Poster Special Delivery!

In an ongoing effort to provide outreach, education, and technical support to Seattle businesses, OLS is mailing a revised workplace poster containing information on labor standards for 2024 to every business with a Seattle business license. A copy will land in mailboxes before the beginning of the year.
