The online open house survey is now closed

The Seattle Department of Transportation and King County Metro would like to thank everybody who shared their feedback on the refined designs for the Route 40 Transit Multimodal Corridor Project! Your input will continue to be invaluable in helping us to refine and improve the project, and we appreciate the time and effort you took to share your thoughts with us.

This summer, we will review your feedback and continue to make progress toward creating a safer, more sustainable, and more accessible transportation corridor for everybody.

If you were not able to share your feedback, you may still visit the online open house to review the refined designs. The design phase will continue through 2023.

Thank you again for your feedback, and we look forward to continuing to work with you to create a more vibrant and connected community.

If you have any questions about the designs, please email the team at Route40@seattle.gov.

SDOT has determined that the Route 40 Transit-Plus Multimodal Corridor Project will not have a probable significant adverse impact on the environment. As a result, SDOT issued a Determination of Non-significance (DNS) on May 22, 2023. This decision was made after review of the adopted National Environmental Policy Act Documented Categorical Exclusion (DCE) Worksheet and technical reports. Public comments on the DNS and adopted DCE and technical reports will be accepted until 5:00 pm, June 5, 2023.
