Thanks to everyone that has taken our survey! If you haven’t had a chance, please share your thoughts about the proposed options to expand the bus lanes on Rainier Ave S and your experience traveling on Rainier Ave S. The survey will be open until November 13.  

Stop by our table at the Rainier QFC (2707 Rainier Ave S) from 2 to 5 PM today

We’ll be sharing information about the bus lanes and other projects in SE Seattle. We’ll also be at the following locations and events: 

  • Safeway, Rainier Beach, 9262 Rainier Ave S, October 18 (noon to 3 PM) 
  • Boo Bash, Rainier Beach Community Center, October 30 (2 to 5 PM) 

Join our virtual public meeting

We are hosting a virtual public meeting on Tuesday, October 25, from 5:30 to 7 PM. At the meeting we will review the options we’re evaluating to expand the bus lanes and discuss benefits and considerations for each. We’ll also answer your questions and listen to your feedback. Mark your calendars, and we’ll share a link to join the meeting in advance. We’ll also post the link to our webpage.

We’ve launched the second phase of outreach on the Seattle Transportation Plan. We’ve heard your vision for the future of transportation. Now we need your help to turn those ideas into actions!   

  • The Seattle Transportation Plan (STP) is our commitment to building a transportation system that provides everyone with access to safe, efficient, and affordable options to reach places and opportunities. We need your help to create this plan.  
  • Together, we are reimagining how we move around the city and enjoy our streets and public spaces  
  • We listened to what you shared with us during our first phase of engagement and started planning. Tell us if we are on the right track and share your input on the Online Engagement Hub.    
  • We have added more ways for you to help create the STP with us:    
    • Review the STP vision, goals, and objectives
    • Share what future of transportation you want to see   
    • Tell us what actions you like and how they can become part of our transportation system
