Conversation with U.S. Representatives Pramila Jayapal and Adam Smith
Aging Network advocacy organizations are holding a live online conversation about the economic security of older adults with U.S. Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal, who represents Washington State’s 7st District, and U.S. Congressman Adam Smith, who represents Washington State’s 9th District in Washington, DC.
This live webinar is an opportunity for individuals involved in advocacy to share information with and hear from their elected representatives. Topics will include housing affordability and accessibility; Older Americans Act, Social Security, and Medicare funding; the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP); and food insecurity.

Open to the public, people who live in the 7th and 9th Congressional Districts are especially encouraged to participate. Topics will be particularly relevant to older people and providers, organizations, and individuals who strive to support older adults.
