Race-Based Trauma (RBT) and Black, Indigenous and People of Color Communities: Pathways to Coping with Racism, Healing from Internalized Oppression, and Managing RBT to Interrupt the Intergenerational Cycle of Cultural Suicide and Successfully Navigate Predominately White and/or Racist Spaces
This three-part learning series will encourage and support participants with acknowledging and affirming the exhaustive and harmful effects of race-based trauma on overall well-being. This workshop will implement culturally-responsive and preventative measures for coping with and healing from racism. Educators will learn how to support the development of children, youth and young adult capacities for safely and successfully navigating predominantly White and/or racist spaces. This equity-driven training is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of Black, Indigenous and People of Color.
Audience: Preschool and birth-to-three educators who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color
