CCAP Expands Provider Eligibility to White Center, Skyway, Boulevard Park, and Shoreline
DEEL is excited to announce that the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) is expanding to include child care providers in new areas! Child care sites in areas outside and adjacent to Seattle city limits are now eligible apply to provide CCAP, including White Center, Boulevard Park, Skyway, and Shoreline.
CCAP helps Seattle families who are working or attending school pay for child care for children under 13 years of age. CCAP serves families whose income falls between 200.1% and 350% of the Federal Poverty Level.
Child care providers who participate in CCAP can be reimbursed for their total monthly tuition rate, making affordable care accessible to more children and families. If you are a child care provider serving Seattle families who may need help paying for child care, please invite them to apply online at seattle.gov/ccap or call (206) 386-1050 to see if they qualify. Providers can learn more about how to become a CCAP provider here.
More exciting CCAP announcements will be coming in 2021 to better serve children, families and providers. Look for more information in the coming weeks and months about expanding eligibility for families and improved processes for providers.
