"Never forget": Remembering Seattle's fallen firefighters

Firefighters remember the fallen

“The sacrifice they made for the citizens of Seattle wasn’t theirs alone, but also (their families).” On Friday, the Seattle Fire Department honored and remembered fallen firefighters that protected the community during the the 2020 Annual Seattle Fallen Firefighter Memorial. Among the honored was Seattle Fire Lt. Jay G. Weeler, who passed away in March from a line-of-duty illness.
