"It's what happens tomorrow and the next week, which is absolutely crucial," said Demarre McGill, principal flutist of the Seattle Symphony and one of the organizers of the Arts March for Racial Justice and Equity. The demonstration was organized by Seattle Symphony and Seattle Opera professionals to speak out against racism and police brutality and put a spotlight on the need for greater Black representation in the arts.
