The Mixer | Resource Exchange
From the industry round tables and last year's events, we have been hearing consistently from artists and creative workers that folks want more centralized ways to find out resources. This month we're organizing a Resource Exchange at Seapine Brewing Company Taproom in SODO (Weds Jan 29, 5-7 pm)!
We will be connecting creative workers, artists, and freelancers with resources that make it easier to live and work in Seattle. Some organizations and agencies present will include:
United Way - Tax Assistance Program
Seattle/King County Clinic @ Seattle Center
Seattle Public Library / Playback
SEEDArts
4Culture
Artists Up
Multicultural Community Center
Park Ave
NW Film Forum Women in Film
KEXP
Musicians Association
Washington Filmworks
Whipsmart
Seattle Film Institute
Art Zone with Nancy Guppy / Seattle Channel
Ventures
Washington Lawyers for the Arts
As usual, the event is free and open to all ages (the taproom is all-ages and pet-friendly).
If you’re interested in providing info at The Mixer about free or low-cost events, programs, or other resources that benefit musicians, filmmakers, and other creative professionals, please email alex.rose@seattle.gov.
