State lawmakers are about to convene in Olympia for a short 60-day session. How will they respond to the revenue shortfall created by the voter-approved $30 car tab measure? Will they support the governor's proposal to cut homelessness in half by tapping into the state's rainy-day fund? State Rep. Frank Chopp, State Sen. David Frockt, State Sen. Rebecca Saldaña, and State Rep. Gael Tarleton join host Brian Callanan on City Inside/Out to discuss their top priorities.

Gina Siciliano's graphic novel celebrates the life of 17th century feminist hero

Gina Siciliano and her book

"I Know What I Am: The Life and Times of Artemisia Gentileschi," is a beautifully-realized graphic novel from cartoonist Gina Siciliano. The biography, which took seven years to research and create, tells the story of a 17th century Italian master painter who has not yet received the attention and accolades she deserves for the simple fact of being a woman in a man's world. Artemisia's most famous painting, "Judith and Holofernes," is part of Seattle Art Museum's current exhibit "Flesh and Blood."
