OEM IS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS!
Neighborhood Preparedness Outreach
We are looking for community members within the seven Seattle Council Districts to serve as Emergency Preparedness Educators with the Seattle Office of Emergency Management (OEM). Our volunteer educators are trained to provide emergency preparedness education to Seattle’s diverse community through presentations, tabling events, neighborhood meetings, and special events. We are looking for people who already know their neighborhood well, or are interested in getting to know their neighborhood by connecting with individuals, businesses and community organizations.

Stop the Bleed Volunteers
Are you an MD, RN or EMT who wants to help prepare the community? The Stop the Bleed program trains community members on how to recognize and treat life threatening bleeding. We are looking to expand our team of volunteers and bring on new instructors. Become a volunteer Stop the Bleed instructor and help prepare your community!
