Join us next month for a film-focused conversation led by Vivian Hua, Executive Director of Northwest Film Forum. This Mixer takes place during NWFF’s Local Sightings Film Festival (Sept 20-29), Seattle’s only festival dedicated to Pacific Northwest films and filmmakers. What better place than this to update the film community on how the city and its partners are increasing support for the local film industry? More details and registration info coming soon.

Seattle-based producer and 2017 Mayor’s Film Award recipient Lacey Leavitt has worked with some of the most talented directors in independent film and has played an instrumental role in building the film community in Seattle. All Those Small Things has been approved as the 8th film project for funding assistance this year under Washington Filmworks' new Local Lens program, making 2019 the strongest year for projects creatively driven by Washington residents in the past 12 years. With the approval of All Those Small Things, the 2019 Local Lens fund is now exhausted. Washington Filmworks will have an additional $3.5 million to allocate in January 2020. Read More
