Also, please make sure to mark your calendars for the next Creative Economy Mixer, which will take place on July 31^st 5pm at Youngstown Cultural Arts Center in the North Delridge neighborhood. We will have a panel discussion and breakout session around the topic of Space Affordability for creatives and learn about some of the investment models that cultural organizations, private businesses, and arts advocates are using to ensure that creativity still has a place in Seattle.

“East of the Mountains” Wraps Filming in Ballard and Wallingford - After filming the majority of its scenes in Eastern Washington this spring and summer, locally-produced East of the Mountains filmed at two Seattle locations in Ballard and Wallingford during its last week of production in late June. The production was financially supported by Washington Filmworks’ groundbreaking Local Lens incentive program, which prioritizes its film incentive funding exclusively to locally made film productions.
