2019 Denim Day - Honoring Indigenous Women: The City of Seattle is hosting an event on April 24 which features an incredible lineup of local Indigenous leaders and speakers who will be discussing the topic of sexual violence against Native women. (more)

Safe Routes to School Mini Grant Opportunity: These mini grants from Seattle Department of Transportation fund schools, PTAs, and community groups to encourage safe walking and biking to school. Applications due by April 30. (more)

Community Invited to Participate in South Park Community Center Site Redevelopment Project: The new design will include play equipment designs, and spray park and field details. Attend the open house on Friday, April 19 and provide input on the design. (more)

Demolition of the East Side of SW Avalon Way from SW Genesee St to SW Yancy St: Seattle Department of Transportation has begun construction for the repair and re-channeling of SW Avalon Way. (more)
