MUSIC INDUSTRY WORKERS: REGISTER FOR RACE AND EQUITY TRAINING

The Office of Film + Music and the Seattle Music Commission have partnered with Equity Matters NW to provide a Race and Equity Professional Development training for music industry workers. The training will be held at the Clock Out Lounge from 10:00-3:00 on Monday, January 28.

Participants will take a deep dive into implicit racial bias and how our subconscious causes us to have feelings and attitudes about other people based on characteristics such as race, ethnicity, age, and appearance. Participants will use their new understanding of implicit racial bias to better integrate equity into industry practices and/or interacting with musicians/patrons.

Registration closes on 1/11 and there is very limited space, so sign up today!
