Supporting film production in Seattle during the Seattle Squeeze

This week, the Office of Film + Music hosted two presentations for the film industry on the #SeattleSqueeze - Seattle's next few years of tough traffic conditions, starting with the viaduct closure on January 11 and lasting until 2024. CITY HOSTS OPIOD HARM REDUCATION TRAINING FOR CLUB OWNERS AND STAFF - The Office of Film + Music, thanks in part to a partnership with Public Health – Seattle & King County, is supplying nightclubs with a lifesaving drug called Naloxone to use on people overdosing on opioids.

VIRTUAL REALITY DEMO EVENT IN RAINIER BEACH - The first-ever FutureFounders cohort, comprised mostly of South Seattle residents ages 18 to 24, will share their VR prototype of the Rainier Beach Food Innovation District at a demo event this Friday.
