Sammamish Cares Volunteer Needs:

Sammamish Cares has had an increase in the number of requests from Sammamish Homeowners for help. Below are the areas that I am trying to find volunteers for. We would like to get the requests filled by the end of October except for #3. If you can help, let me know which project you could help with, and your timeframe for getting the work done.

  1. Wash both sides of windows on 2 stories..
  2. Patch, spackle, and paint 2 small holes in garage..
  3. Rake autumn leaves.
  4. Wallboard to left and below large window (44 in. wide) has water spot less than 1 ft. wide above baseboard. There is history of leaking in the rainy months. Roof was replaced in Sept. 2011, but water spot appeared on wall prior to roof replacement. Repaint newly caulked area with owner supplied paint.
  5. Shorten and trim two 8 ft. tall barberry bushes to about 6 ft. tall. Shorten and trim one 8 ft. tall rhododendron by driveway to 6 ft. tall. Trim another 7 ft. tall rhododendron by window to window sill height. Remove all trimmings.
