This week from the Snoqualmie Tribe Ancestral Lands Movement:
We want to thank all of our supporters for your commitment, curiosity, interest, and care that has been shared since the Ancestral Lands Movement was first launched this summer. There is so much shared interest and love to treat Snoqualmie ancestral lands with the care they deserve, from the biggest old growth tree, to the smallest Kokanee fry.

November is Native American Heritage Month. The month is a time to celebrate rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories and to acknowledge the important contributions of Native people. Heritage Month is also an opportune time to educate the general public about tribes, to raise general awareness about the unique challenges Native people have faced both historically and in the present, and the ways in which tribal citizens have worked to conquer these challenges.
