Sammamish Seniors will focus on Climate Change with Meteorologist Jeff Renner on Wednesdays, Sept 22, 11 AM. A simple definition from the National Geographic Society: âClimate change is the long-term alteration of temperature and typical weather patterns in a place . . . The cause of current climate change is largely human activity . . . ." As Jeff points out, âWe experienced more 100+ degree days in one week this summer than weâd experienced since records were kept.â
