These road work projects are scheduled in Sammamish for the week of October 24 - 30.
SCHEDULES MAY CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER AND/OR EQUIPMENT AVAILABILITY.
Construction Hours are 7am to 8pm Monday - Friday, 9am to 6pm on Saturdays, and no work on Sundays and holidays.
Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Improvements (Phase 2)
ITS Phase 2 Project will continue construction work along SR-202 from Sahalee Way NE through 244th Ave NE and along Sahalee Way from SR 202 to NE 12th St. Contractor will be working with trench, conduits, and vaults and will continue to install overhead fiber optic cables. Construction hours will switch to daytime Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm. Expect single-lane closures and traffic control with flaggers.
SE 4th Street: Finishing Up!
On SE 4th St., Most of the work has been completed. Crews are working on the final touches; property restorations; fences; minor adjustments; clean up, etc. While the impacts to traffic are much less now, construction equipment will be moving up and down the roadway and there will be minor traffic impacts. At times flaggers will be controlling traffic to get vehicles around the work. Typical work hours are 7:00am to 5:00pm. During non-work hours, traffic will be traveling in normal lanes. Please be cautious as you travel through the corridor and keep an eye out for construction crews as they work to finish up this great community asset.
King County
Pavement Marking
King County will continue pavement marking work citywide. Work will progress depending on the weather. Working hours are mostly during daytime normal construction hours (7am – 8pm). Remaining work includes thermoplastic marking and installation of raised pavement markings (RPMs). Pavement striping is a moving operation; please be alert and maintain your distance from striping vehicles.
Curb Ramp Retrofit Project
Crews will continue working on curb ramps and sidewalk in Autumn Wind / 236th Ave NE / NE 14th St. Minor traffic delays are anticipated. Typical work hours are between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm.
SE 43rd Way and Providence Point Signal

Issaquah-Fall City Road (IFCR)
Issaquah-Fall City Road remains closed for construction. Local access will be maintained during the closure. The closure between 247th Place SE and Klahanie Dr. SE is still on schedule to last through the end of December 2020.
- Construction of the bridge is underway and on schedule to complete in December. The contractor is continuing to work on the bridge understructure by installing the concrete diaphragms between the beams (Small wall connections).
- Construction of the retaining walls and bridge approaches on the east and west side of the bridge is currently being built.
- Between 242nd and 247th Ave. SE, traffic remains on the south side of the roadway. Work continues along the north half of the roadway in this area. The contractor is installing the concrete sidewalk along the north side and placing concrete in the median islands.
- PSE is expected to lower their gas main at the intersection of 242nd in the early part of November, once completed the remaining utilities can be lowered and the contractor can resume construction of the roundabout.
- The contractor will be working on the new detention pond and storm drainage facilities at the northwest corner of the intersection of Issaquah Fall City Road and Klahanie Drive SE.
- With the daylight hours shortening in the fall and winter, the contractor is expected to work on the occasional Saturdays to take advantage of daylight hours, weather and keep on schedule.
Please note that during peak delays, using the project detour route, Issaquah Beaver Lake Road to Issaquah Pine Lake Road, may result in shorter drive times. Daytime Project work hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday Work Hours 9:00 a.m. – 6 p.m.
