Do You Know What To Do When Disasters Strike?
Our intrepid Emergency Manager, Andrew Stevens, does! Come to Hops n Drops in Klahanie at 6 p.m. on November 12 to meet him! He will go over the City’s Emergency Preparedness Guide and 5-Step Neighborhood Action Kit, discuss training opportunities, and talk about how residents can best prepare for the upcoming winter season and other emergencies.

Got a vision to improve the corridor?
The City of Sammamish will be developing designs to improve safety for people walking, cycling, and driving on the roadway corridor that runs from SE 8th St to NE Inglewood Hill Rd, along 218th Ave SE. We need to hear about your experience using the corridor! Your input will help us address existing issues and design a better corridor for the future.

The Sammamish TMP is our visionary document for how to improve the different ways we get around town. Your input will help us better understand our community’s priorities and values, so we can make the TMP the best it can be.
These are the road work projects scheduled in Sammamish for the week of Oct. 25 – Nov. 1
SCHEDULES MAY CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER AND/OR EQUIPMENT AVAILABILITY
RE-Rescheduled: Osgood Development
The developer will be closing SE 24th to install underground sewer utilities on Saturday, October 26. The work hours are between 9:00 am and 6:00pm. The roadway will be open by the end of Saturday.
Costea Estates Development
The developer will be paving the internal roads on October 30th. During this time expect delays related to construction traffic on 248th Avenue SE.
4th Street: Curbs and Gutters
Flaggers continue to manage traffic through the construction site. The contractor is working to complete the remaining underground utility work and complete the initial paving by the end of November.
UPDATE: Issaquah Fall City Road
The general contractor (GC) has begun work along the corridor. Clearing activities and underground utility work will be the emphasis. In addition, third party utilities, including PSE gas, Comcast, and Verizon are relocating facilities in the public right-of-way.
Note: Traffic will be shifted to the north starting October 21; one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times. Work hours are 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Verizon 5G
Crews are working along 228th between NE 8th and SE 8th repairing concrete - the work is within the limits of the sidewalk.
