City Seeks Volunteers for Design Review Board

Redmond, WA – The City of Redmond is accepting applications for upcoming Design Review Board member vacancies. If you are a design professional or a resident of Redmond and are passionate about the quality of architecture and landscaping in the City of Redmond, you are encouraged to apply. Redmond is currently looking to fill three new design positions. One professional member and two resident members.

Volunteers on the seven-member Design Review Board review and make recommendations to City Council on site plans, landscape, architectural design, and colors and materials for commercial, industrial, and multi-family projects. The board is comprised of five professionals from the fields of architecture, landscape architecture, or urban design and two residents who represent the community at large.

All city board and commission appointments are volunteer positions. Candidates for the professional position are not required to be residents of Redmond. Meetings are mandatory and held on the first and third Thursday evenings of every month.
