Opportunities Announced to Guide Redmond’s Future

Redmond, WA – A series of community workshops and a new questionnaire are available for Redmond community members to help decide what Redmond will look like in 2050. Current topics include policy updates for housing, economic vitality, and transportation, equity in our built environment, and Overlake neighborhood updates.

Workshop dates and topics are currently scheduled through October. Upcoming topics include:

  • Wednesday, August 18: Transportation and economic vitality policy updates
  • Thursday, August 19: Equitable, sustainable, and resilient transit-oriented development (TOD)
  • Wednesday, August 25: Housing policy updates
  • Thursday, September 2: Accommodating growth in Overlake, zoning, and land-use changes
  • Wednesday, September 8: Inclusive / Universal design

These in-person events are at noon in the Redmond City Hall Council Chambers (15670 NE 85th Street, Redmond) or by joining virtually via web browser or phone. The content will be repeated virtually in the evening from 6 - 7 p.m. Contact Redmond2050@redmond.gov or 425-556-2750 to RSVP and receive a link or phone number to join remotely.

The community is also encouraged to complete a questionnaire to share preferences on the topics of housing, economic vitality, and transportation at www.LetsConnectRedmond.com/Redmond2050.
