REDMOND, Wash. - An unidentified person was killed in a vehicle crash just before midnight on Tuesday on Redmond-Woodinville Road NE at NE 124th St.

A passer-by reported the crash to police who found an SUV had been driven into a cement wall and rolled over on Red-Wood Road. The sole occupant was deceased upon officers’ arrival. No other vehicles or other parties were involved.

Police are determining the factors that led to the collision, but investigators said high speed is likely a factor.

The King County Medical Examiner’s Office is working to identify the driver and notification of next of kin is pending.

Red-Wood Road was closed for several hours as police investigated the crash, but reopened early Wednesday morning.
