City Welcomes New K-9 Unit

Redmond Police are proud to introduce its new K-9 Unit, Officer Dan McNamara and K-9 Griff. The team recently finished the required 400 hours of certification training and is ready to serve the City, and work hard to protect our community.

Human Services Program Supports Community

The City strives to ensure everyone has access to the support they need by investing in local programs that serve our families, friends, and neighbors. Last year, the City granted over $1.2 million to 62 programs providing services, including counseling, shelter, job support, and more.

Light Rail

View Light Rail Extension Project Update

Construction is underway for the Sound Transit Light Rail Extension project in Redmond. Watch this update given by city staff to Council in early March and enjoy photos and details on the project that will bring light rail to Overlake in 2023 and Downtown in 2024.

Help Keep Redmond Clean

Don’t let others find what your pet leaves behind. Please remember to pick up and properly dispose of pet waste. Picking up after your pet keeps Redmond’s sidewalks, trails, and parks clean for all to enjoy and helps to protect the community’s waterways.
