REDMOND, WA - The Redmond Council adopted the 2021-22 biennial budget on Thursday, December 10 with a 6-1 vote. The adopted budget Council packet is available here.

Throughout the budget writing process, the goal of the City was to gather community input about City issues, priorities, and fiscal matters before the final budget was adopted. More community members than ever before provided input through questionnaires, emails, focus groups, and four public hearings. In addition, community members could voice their opinion about the budget through items from the audience at the Council’s regular business meetings on the first and third Tuesdays of the month or by emailing bpquestions@redmond.govPublic comments were collected until the budget was adopted.

The City used the Budgeting by Priorities process for the formation of the City’s biennial budget. This process identifies the community’s highest priority services. Budget information is available on the City’s website at www.redmond.gov/Budget.
