On November 15, Governor Inslee announced new four-week statewide restrictions.
City facilities will remain closed through March 2021. Essential services will continue to be provided and staff that can work remotely, will do so. Visit redmond.gov/COVID-19 for helpful resources, updates, recommendations, and status of City services.
Redmond City Council Continues Budget Deliberations
Redmond City Council is making progress on their 2021-2022 budget deliberations. An additional deliberation meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on December 3 to continue their discussions. The City of Redmond’s preliminary 2021-2022 biennial budget is published at www.redmond.gov/Budget. Public hearings were held on June 16, October 20, and November 2 and 17.
This year’s Redmond Lights festivities have been extended to allow for physical distancing and safety precautions. Celebrate hope, joy, arts, and light at Downtown Park from December 4, 2020, to January 3, 2021. At our recent Redmond 2050 community workshop, we heard how important a good transportation system will be to the future success of Redmond. Give your feedback on the Transportation Master Plan update so the City can plan for a system that works for you.
The City is accepting applications for upcoming Design Review Board vacancies. If you are a design professional, and you are passionate about the quality of architecture and landscaping in the City of Redmond, you are encouraged to apply by 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2020.
