Public Hearing for the City’s Draft Budget on October 20

Join us for the second of three public hearings on the budget, October 20. The City of Redmond’s preliminary 2021 – 2022 biennial budget is published at www.redmond.gov/Budget. Review the draft budget and send your comments or questions to bpquestions@redmond.gov. There is a third public hearing on November 2.

Redmond Community Centers

Deciding on the Future of Redmond Community Centers

The Redmond Senior Center closed in September 2019, and City Council is requested to make a decision on the future of the building this Thursday, October 22. Redmond community centers are places to build friendships, gather and celebrate, improve health, and learn new skills. Tune in on October 22 at www.redmond.gov/RCTVlive, on City of Redmond’s Facebook page livestream, Comcast Channel 21, Frontier Channel 34, or listen at 510-335-7371. The meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. with budget deliberations first, followed by the Redmond Senior & Community Center scheduled to begin around 9:00 p.m.

Thank You for Your Help Preventing Floods

The rainy months are just getting started, but so far Redmond residents and city public works staff are doing a great job keeping storm drains clear. Despite over four inches of rain falling over a few days, no localized flooding was reported in Redmond. Help avoid localized flooding by clearing storm drains of leaves and debris.
