Message From Redmond Police Chief Lowe
The City has received many important questions about our Police Department’s policies on training, procedures and practices. Redmond Police Chief Darrell Lowe has posted the questions and answers in a FAQ for the community, along with a message about his vision and expectations of Redmond police.
The City will host the first of three public hearings to gather community input on the 2021-22 biennial budget on June 16 at 7:30 p.m. during the regular virtual business meeting of the City Council. Public comments related to the budget hearing can be submitted by email to bpquestions@redmond.gov.
Look for temporary 5-minute curbside pick-up street parking spots in Downtown to make it easy for you to access your favorite Redmond businesses. Remember to visit the What’s Open Eastside business directory for information on business operation status.
Today, the Redmond library kicks off the first week of their summer reading series. This program will promote specific chapters every couple of weeks from the book The Lines that Make Us: Stories from Nathan’s Bus for the community to read together and inspire conversation.
