Redmond, WA – The City of Redmond is now accepting applications for its 2020 Arts Season Grants, provided through Redmond’s Cultural Arts Program. Applications will be accepted through Friday, December 6, 2019.

The goal of Redmond's Arts Season Grant Program is to support quality arts and cultural programs that are accessible to Redmond residents and visitors throughout the year in order to provide inclusivity, cultivate a creative environment, and produce a thriving arts scene in Redmond. The Art Season Grants are eligible for any group or individual offering cultural arts programming in Redmond, WA, between February 1, 2020 and December 18, 2020. The grants are available to provide support and resources to help connect Redmond’s diverse community and develop our artists and cultural arts organizations

Those interested in learning more about the opportunity are invited to a workshop on Tuesday, November 12, 2019, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Centro Cultural Mexicano, 7945 Gilman Street, Redmond 98052. The workshop is a free and open to the public.

Applications are available through the City of Redmond’s website, www.redmond.gov/Arts, and will be accepted through Friday, December 6, 2019.  A panel comprised of Arts & Culture Commissioners, staff and artists will evaluate qualifying applications on a competitive basis, using the official funding criteria, and will forward recommendations to the Mayor and City Council for approval. City Council will award the grants in January 2020.
