Winter Storm Expected to Hit Region Tomorrow

Redmond, WA – A major snow event is expected to arrive Friday and last through the weekend according to the National Weather Service. The Redmond area could see 4 to 8 inches of snow and wind gusts ranging from 20 to 35 mph with the potential of power outages as a result. There is a possibility of more snow arriving early next week, so the community is encouraged to prepare now.
To prepare for storm conditions, it is recommended that you:
- Have emergency supplies on hand at home and in your vehicle, such as extra batteries, flashlights, food and blankets
- Charge cell phones and mobile devices in case of a power outage
- Download the PSE mobile outage app to track and report outages, check status and get estimated restoration times, or visit https://www.pse.com/outage/outage-map
