Redmond, WA – King County Metro and the City of Redmond are forming a working group to improve transportation options in areas that are not well served by fixed-route bus service in the Education Hill, Downtown, and Southeast Redmond neighborhoods. Previously Metro and the City partnered on a project that resulted in the Redmond LOOP, which recently came to the end of its two-year pilot and was not extended due to low ridership. This group will work to develop replacement options that will better serve the community.

The City is seeking a diverse group of stakeholders for the working group, who will collaborate with Metro and City staff to help define local needs and develop solutions. Key stakeholders, such as seniors, business owners, and community advocates will comprise the working group. The group will meet in Redmond four times (for approximately two hours each meeting) beginning in early 2019.

If you are interested in having your voice heard and participating in this stakeholder group, the first step is to complete an online application form here. Applications are due by January 22. Those selected will represent the diversity of perspectives in the community. All applicants will be notified of selection status.
