Second Public Hearing for 19/20 Budget

Redmond, WA – The City of Redmond will host the second public hearing for the 2019-2020 Biennial Budget on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. The hearing will take place at Redmond City Hall, 15670 NE 85th Street, during the regular City Council meeting. The goal of the public hearing is to gather community input about City issues, priorities and fiscal matters before the final budget is adopted on December 4, 2018.

The City continues to use its Budgeting by Priorities process for formation of the 2019-2020 budget. By using lessons learned from the previous efforts, the City strives to continue providing the highest priority services to the community. The current 2017-2018 Adopted Budget is on the City’s website at

One additional public hearing will be held on November 20. The Council will be conducting budget study sessions beginning October 23, 2018. A complete budget calendar can be found on the City’s website at

In addition to public hearings, community members can voice their opinion about the budget at any regular Council meeting during the “Items from the Audience” section on the first and third Tuesdays of the month.
