Heavy Rain and Windy Conditions Expected Tuesday Night through Saturday

The National Weather Service expects Redmond and the surrounding areas to accumulate 1 to 3 inches of rain through Saturday. Localized urban and street flooding is possible. River levels are expected to rise.

Wind is expected in most areas with the strongest winds along the coast and in the Northern Interior. Small branches and weak trees may fall, and local power outages are possible. Falling leaves and debris can clog gutters and storm drains leading to urban flooding.

Be prepared

  • Keep storm drains and gutters free of debris
  • Put all leaves and compostable debris in your organics cart
  • Put away summer lawn furniture
  • Have flashlights and fresh batteries in case of power outages
  • Never drive through flooded roads
  • Drive carefully and look for downed tree limbs or power lines
  • If you lose power, check the PSE Outage Map
  • If you have a life-threatening situation, call 911
