Police Seek to Identify Suspect in Jewelry Theft

REDMOND, WA -
On
November 21, 2016 at approximately 1:30 pm, Redmond Police responded to the
report of a jewelry robbery at the Sears store in south Redmond.
A
dark-skinned male entered the Sears store and approached a sales associate at
the jewelry counter, asking to view a ring for his girlfriend. When viewing the ring, the suspect passed a note to the Sears employee
indicating that he was armed. No weapon was displayed. The suspect then fled
the store with the ring prior to police arrival.
Suspect Description: Dark-skinned male,
5’9” with glasses, black sweatshirt, medium build and facial hair. It was
possible that the suspect had a female accomplice who is yet to be identified.
Redmond Police request the public’s assistance in identifying this person. If seen, do not approach; call 911.
