The Puget Sound Partnership Leadership Council will meet on Wednesday, April 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the April 13 Leadership Council meeting will be a virtual Zoom meeting for all participants and the public. Zoom instructions are included in the meeting agenda, which is available through our board meeting page: https://psp.wa.gov/board_meetings.php
Meeting highlights include:
- A presentation for decision about proposed Vital Sign indicator targets for Toxics in Aquatic Life and Chinook Salmon Abundance. Vital Sign indicator targets help us to articulate our vision for Puget Sound recovery by setting bold, quantitative goals. On March 3, Partnership staff presented these target proposals to the Leadership Council. During that meeting, the Leadership Council declined to adopt the proposed targets and delayed their decision to a later date. This session will include a brief update about new developments from the past month, including a recommendation from the Salmon Recovery Council to adopt the Chinook abundance target. The Leadership Council will be asked to adopt a target for Chinook salmon abundance and Toxics in Aquatic Life. Presentation by Kirsten Feifel, Adaptive Systems and Accountability Program Manager at the Partnership and Annelise Del Rio, Salmon Scientist at the Partnership.
The full Leadership Council agenda and meeting materials are available through our board meetings page at: https://psp.wa.gov/board_meetings.php.
If you need special accommodations to participate in this meeting, please notify Special Assistant to the Boards Anna Petersen at 360.338.2384.
