The Puget Sound Partnership Ecosystem Coordination Board will meet on Wednesday, February 16, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the February 16 Ecosystem Coordination Board meeting will be a virtual Zoom meeting for all participants and the public.

Meeting highlights include:
- A presentation about the 2022-2026 Action Agenda. This session will include an update about the process to develop the 2022-2026 Action Agenda and an invitation to the Ecosystem Coordination Board to provide feedback between January 26 and February 16 on the draft Action Agenda Executive Summary, Comprehensive Plan, Implementation Plan, and document appendices. Presentation by Stephanie Suter, planning program director at the Puget Sound Partnership.
- A presentation and discussion about progress on the Chinook Regional Priorities ("Bold Actions"). In September 2017, the Salmon Recovery Council adopted a set of Chinook Regional Priorities—commonly referred to as the "Bold Actions"—to accelerate the recovery effort and provide greater focus to the Chinook Implementation Strategy. This session will include a review of past and present work on the Chinook Regional Priorities, an update on progress to date, and an exploration of how the Ecosystem Coordination Board might help advance implementation of one or more Bold Actions in 2022. Presentation by Dave Herrera, co-vice chair of the Ecosystem Coordination Board.
- A presentation about the Ecosystem Coordination Board's Land Use subcommittee and the focus of its work for 2022. This session will include discussion about the Land Use subcommittee's objectives, milestones, and desired outcomes, and whether the subcommittee should engage other partners to make progress on its objectives. Presentation by Charlotte Garrido, co-chair of the Ecosystem Coordination Board Land Use subcommittee, Dave Herrera, co-chair of the Ecosystem Coordination Board Land Use subcommittee and co-vice chair of the Ecosystem Coordination Board, and Jillian Reitz, boards policy advisor at the Puget Sound Partnership.
- A presentation and discussion about the Puget Sound Future Scenarios project. This session will include an update on the status of the Future Scenarios project and a preview of next steps; a discussion of the results of the business-as-usual scenario; and a discussion of emerging alternative scenarios. Presentation by Katherine Wyatt, assistant science director at the Puget Sound Partnership, and Jillian Reitz, boards policy advisor at the Puget Sound Partnership.
- A presentation and discussion about the Ecosystem Coordination Board's 2022 work plan. This session will include discussion of priority topics for the Ecosystem Coordination Board's 2022 work plan and discussion of desired outcomes and topic leads for each topic in the work plan. Presentation by Jillian Reitz, boards policy advisor at the Puget Sound Partnership.
- A presentation and discussion about the 2022 Washington State legislative session. Partnership staff will provide an update on the 2022 legislative session, and Ecosystem Coordination Board members will have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss policies. Presentation by Don Gourlie, legislative policy director at the Puget Sound Partnership.
