The Puget Sound Partnership Leadership Council will meet on Wednesday, January 5, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the January 5 Leadership Council meeting will be a virtual Zoom meeting for all participants and the public.
Zoom instructions are included in the meeting agenda, which is available through our board meeting page: https://psp.wa.gov/board_meetings.php
Meeting highlights include:
- A presentation for decision about legislative and budget priorities for the 2022 Washington State legislative session. During the December 9 Leadership Council meeting, Partnership staff presented the staff ranking of 2022 supplemental budget requests, Project Olga legislative recommendations, and input received from boards and advisory groups. During that meeting, the Leadership Council declined to adopt legislative priorities and delayed their decision to a later date. This session will include a brief update about new developments from the past month, including the release of the Governor's budget and salmon legislative priorities. The Leadership Council will be asked to adopt a set of legislative and budget priorities for the 2022 legislative session. Presentation by Jay Manning, chair of the Leadership Council, and Don Gourlie, legislative policy director at the Puget Sound Partnership.
The full Leadership Council agenda and meeting materials are available through our board meeting page at: https://psp.wa.gov/board_meetings.php.
