A presentation for decision about the key findings and recommendations from a report about barriers that county planning and permit staff face when encouraging landowners to take voluntary actions to protect and restore ecologically important areas on their property. The Partnership contracted with the University of Washington's Evans School of Public Policy and Governance for this research, and the project is in support of the Ecosystem Coordination Board's (ECB) Land Use Subcommittee. The subcommittee will present proposed next steps for the board to continue to advance and amplify the findings and recommendations. A presentation on revised strategies for the 2022-2026 Action Agenda. Strategies describe effective approaches for advancing progress toward desired outcomes, Vital Signs, and overall recovery. This session will include an update about revisions to the draft strategies and a draft framework for identifying specific actions to include in the 2022-2026 Action Agenda.
