A presentation for decision regarding the Puget Sound Partnership's target-setting strategy. The purpose of targets is to provide a vision for the Partnership's long-term intended recovery destination and identify near-term waypoints that, if attained, will help achieve the six statutorily-defined goals to recover and protect Puget Sound. This session will provide an overview of the target-setting strategy, how the Partnership plans to set targets and use targets, and the expected results from a target-setting strategy. A presentation for decision about the desired outcomes for the recovery of Puget Sound, an important foundation for the 2022-2026 Action Agenda. Achieving the desired recovery outcomes ensures progress toward the goals of healthy habitats, water quality, species, and human quality of life in Puget Sound. This session will include an overview of proposed edits to desired outcomes and an overview of proposed human wellbeing outcomes. Presentation by Dan Stonington, planning manager at the Puget Sound Partnership, and Leah Kintner, ecosystem recovery manager at the Puget Sound Partnership.
