March 15-19, 2021

 

Session context: March 9 was the cutoff by which time bills must pass out of their house of origin. Committee hearings are now resuming in full (see calendar below). Committees are now considering bills that have already passed in the opposite house, with the exception of a small number of bills that are considered "necessary to implement the budget" and have yet to pass either house. The next cutoff is March 26, by which time policy committees must pass bills that have already passed in the opposite house.
