A presentation and discussion about the current budget and legislative outlook for the state, by Jeff Parsons, legislative policy director at the Puget Sound Partnership. The session will include the initial findings from the Boards Legislative Priorities survey and discussion about concepts for potential Salmon Recovery Council and boards legislative priorities in 2021.
Brief updates about the following topics: 2020 Salmon Recovery Funding Board (SRFB) projects of concern; the Action Agenda, Progress Measures, and Vital Signs; alternative future scenarios; the funding subcommittee; nearshore regulatory framework improvements; a Nisqually Indian Tribe white paper on public capital funding and net ecological gain; and top barriers from watersheds.
