The next meeting of the Southern Resident Orca Task Force will take place from 9:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, at the following location:
- Facility: Washington State Fair Events Center, 110 9th Avenue SW, Puyallup, WA
- Meeting room. West Bay of the Sleep Country Showplex & Conference Center
The Events Center is located on the east side of the fairgrounds, inside the Blue Gate entrance and near the Centennial Building and Pavilion.
When available, the full agenda will be posted on the Task Force website.
If their schedule allows, TVW, Washington’s public affairs network, will broadcast the plenary portions of the meeting. The venue’s systems may not support live-streaming, but the broadcast will be available afterward in the TVW archives. Please check the TVW website for more information.
Public comment opportunities
This meeting is open to the public, and all are welcome to provide comment and learn about the effort to recover Southern Resident orcas. The Task Force will hear public comment at the end of the meeting. In addition, public comment continues to be accepted in writing at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/srkwtfpubliccomment.
