Science Panel to hear updates on legislative priorities for 2019
The Puget Sound Partnership's Science Panel will meet over two days on Tuesday, October 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Wednesday October 10, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the University of Washington, Applied Physics Lab, 1013 NE 40th St, Seattle, WA 98105.
Meeting highlights include:
An update on legislative priorities for 2019. Before each state legislative session begins, Partnership staff and partners determine priorities among the range of legislative proposals and decision packages related to Puget Sound.
A review of the 2018-2022 Action Agenda draft. The Action Agenda for Puget Sound charts the course for Puget Sound recovery, describing the priorities and actions necessary to advance recovery over the next 4 years.
An update of the Toxics in Fish Implementation Strategy. Implementation Strategiesare plans for accelerating progress toward ecosystem recovery targets.
Development of potential priorities for the Science Panel's 2019 work plan.
