Plan your winter getaway at Washington state parks!

Looking to get away this winter for some fun in the snow or a trip to the wild coast? Look no further than your Washington state parks. State parks offer something for every outdoor recreation and vacation enthusiast, and plenty of available space to boot!

Whether you’re an RV camper or prefer tent camping, you can plan your trip and experience winter camping at scores of state parks that are open year-round. Find out which parks are open in winter.

If you’re new to winter camping, book a stay at a yurt or cabin to shelter you from the elements. Most cabins and yurts are heated and offer outdoor fire pits for sitting around the fire on a cold winter night.

Our Winter Recreation Program manages Sno-parks across the state for all your snow-shoeing, sledding, snowmobiling and winter fun needs.

And don’t forget about summer!

Make your reservations for summer camping and cabins now, while they're still available. You can book your favorite spot up to nine months in advance.
