Washington State Parks Reservation System Upgrade, System Unavailable until January 16, 2019
Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission sent this bulletin at 01/08/2019 12:10 PM PST
Washington State Parks is excited to announce the January 16 launch of our updated central reservation system where you can make reservations for camping, cabin and yurt, vacation houses, and shelters. Reservations are unavailable from January 8-January 15, while we transition to the new system. During the closure, camping and other facility rental is available on a first come first served basis at the park.
On January 14, you’ll get a preview of the new site, and you can claim your new account. You can begin making reservations again on January 16th.
Password Reset Required: On January 14th, you can log on to the website with your current login (email address). Upon sign-in, you will be prompted to reset your password. At the “My account” screen, be sure to update your information, including storing information such as equipment preferences and boat information, which will automatically display for you when making reservations.
The updated system allows you to:
- Get information on State Parks promotions
- See all the same information on your mobile device
- Purchase your extra vehicle permit in advance
- Check in by asking Park staff to scan the bar code on your confirmation letter
- Reserve at more new parks, such as Cama Beach and Camano Island.
Thank you for your patience. We think you will like the new, user-friendly reservation system and faster check-in at the parks.
