Washington State Parks
and other outdoor recreation agencies want to know how we can improve
recreation opportunities on Washington’s treasured public lands for you and
your family.
State Parks and the
Washington departments of Natural Resources and Fish and Wildlife are working with Washington State University to get
your feedback on how we can simplify the state’s recreation passes and
permits, increase access to public lands and find ways to ensure recreation
on public lands is adequately—and sustainably—funded.
We hope you’ll take
some time (10 to 15 minutes only) to take this confidential survey.

State Parks has teamed
up with professional football player Luke Willson to promote the diverse
landscapes and activities of Washington’s beautiful state parks.
Through Sept. 4, we’re posting
a weekly “trivia” question about a state park on the our Facebook
page and Twitter
feed. You can text your answer, and if it’s correct, your name will
be entered into a drawing to win autographed items from Willson. Each week, one
winner will be selected from the winning responses. Think you know state
parks enough to enter? (If you don’t, we highly encourage you to search for the
answers on the State Parks website!)
Luke
Willson (#82 tight end), a well-known Seattle football player, is
an outdoor enthusiast and well-suited to be a spokesperson for state parks.
Ever since moving to Washington, Willson says he has developed a deep passion
for the state’s natural beauty, through activities such as hiking, fishing,
boating and swimming.
The six-week campaign kicked
off July 31. Remaining drawings will be held Aug. 28 and Sept. 4 and 11.
