The Professional Educator Standards Board seeks input from the field on issues impacting ESA preparation programs, pre-service candidates, school districts, and in-service School Counselors, School Psychologists, School Social Workers, and other ESA positions in Washington. Topics include:
- Program enrollment
- Hiring and retention
- Field placement challenges
- Certification and licensure
- Other issues pertaining to preparing, licensing, and retaining ESAs
May 6th Listening Session
Attend our listening session on May 6 from 4-6 pm to share issues and thoughts you have on these topics. PESB staff will provide some background and then open the floor to hear from you.
