PESB Office Hours with Superintendents

In an effort to increase communication and strengthen collaboration between the Professional Educator Standards Board (PESB) and Washington superintendents, Dr. Erica Hernandez-Scott, PESB’s Interim Executive Director, will begin hosting virtual office hours once a month to hear directly from superintendents. Office hours will allow district leaders to share on topics, such as: 

• Educator shortage and related policy 
• Paraeducator training
• CCDEI standards across educator roles
• Your previous experiences with PESB
• Other topics of interest 

Clear, honest two-way communication will support our collective effort to serve Washington educators, students, and families.

Office hours are not intended for participants to provide feedback on policies adopted by our board. If you would like to provide input on policy-related items, please submit public comment at our board meetings.
