Paraeducator Certificate Program webinar: implementation updates and Q&A

Washington’s Paraeducator Certificate Program provides standards-based training to support and strengthen the state’s paraeducator workforce. Midway through the third school year of program implementation, districts are providing 14 hours of training to their paraeducators on the Fundamental Course of Study and General Paraeducator Certificate. About 4,500 paraeducators have received training so far this school year, and another 20,000 paraeducators will receive training by the end of the school year.

As a midyear check-in with district implementation leaders, we are hosting a webinar on February 10 at 1 p.m. to share:

  • 2021-22 training requirements and possible implementation approaches
  • In-person training requirements
  • E-cert and recording training completion
  • Reimbursement process and iGrant 918 reports
  • An update on CCDEI+ standards

Register to attend. For those unable to attend, the webinar will be recorded and posted to our YouTube account.
